Government Sports Hostel retained the trophy, edging out Katak Rider 3-1 via tie-breaker in the final match of the Bachan Memorial Football Tournament at Agrahat Sports Club ground in Choudwar today. Jagannath Moharana, Aditya Kujur, Siman Marandi (all Sports Hostel) and Seikh Juber (Katak Rider) were awarded as best goalkeeper, best defender, best mid-fielder and best forward respectively.
Choudwar MLA Prabhat Ranjan Biswal handed over the trophy and cash prizes in the presence of host Cuttack District Athletic Association secretary Asirbad Behera.
